Composite Decking Installation in Durham
We can design and install composite decking within your garden area to compliment your landscaping, build a raised patio, sun deck or a cost-effective alternative to the standard timber decking or Indian sandstone paving.

What is Composite Decking?
It's a man-made product that is made into boards, ready coloured and consisting of a mixture that is manufactured from wood-fibres, plastics and bonded agents, that is combined, heated and pressed into decking boards and then cooled. These boards that are created using this process look very realistic, unlike those plastic boards that are on the market, and they need a lot less maintaining than the traditional timber decking.

What are the benefits of composite decking?
Because these boards are impregnated and contain a certain amount of plastic within their structure, it produces decking boards that are less perishable, long -lasting, durable and less prone to dampness, rotting and insect infestation.

Some other great benefits to be had are, you don't need to seal, stain, or paint the boards every year unlike normal timber decking, which can be a time consuming and messy job itself.

Composite boards will not warp, crack or splinter and are not affected by the suns harmful and damaging UV light rays, which can cause fading to standard decking over a period of time.

Boards are virtually slip-resistant as they have a very low water absorption rate. This can make them useful for installing around the perimeter of swimming pools and hot tub areas.

We have impressed by this material, not only the way it looks, which is fantastic by the way, but it offers the customer a much-increased lifespan than it's competitor, the standard timber decking.

To be honest, it may be a little more expensive initially than wood decking, but if you consider that extra cost against what you will be gaining band saving over the years. With minimum upkeep qualities to contend with, very low maintenance and a product that will totally outlast its rivals, you can safely say that you will 100% save money and time over the years, and in turn, have a decking area will serve you well and constantly look in top condition all year round.
